Hot Water Systems
Gas Hot Water Systems
Gas storage units store water at a constant temperature in an insulated tank ready for use. When the water cools below a temperature a gas flame reheats it. This is much more efficient than an electric system.
Gas storage can be kept inside or outside. Internal models require a flue. Both are rated with the energy star system the higher the star rating the more efficient. The storage capacity and recovery rate determine how many liters per hour the unit can deliver. Gas systems heat fast than electric therefore they can have a smaller storage tank and yet can yield as much as a larger electric.
